Though the small screen circuit is becoming increasingly powerful by the day when compared to the silver screen circuit, there are still certain regulations that stand apart. The most important in that happens to be skin show and unlike the Hindi small screen circuit where navel show and cleavage show is quite common, the situation is not the same in the southern circuit.

Keeping the censor regulations in mind, the SIIMA event adhered to certain norms when it comes to the stage shows and performances of actresses. Apparently, areas such as navels, thigh show or cleavages are being blurred in the telecast. As such, the TV censor board is very strict and the onstage performers obeyed the requirement.

From their end, the show organizers asked starlets to come up with costumes which are completely covering these particular areas. This is one change which was noticed by all those who were present during the event. As such, it was an event exclusive only for the four industries and the public would be able to watch it when the telecast happens.
