The need to come up with something new is always there for the Tollywood folks and while they don’t consider the same aspect in terms of content, they certainly do that in terms of casting. For some reason, the makers have always believed in the Bollywood folks to be the best bet when it comes to antagonist roles.

The upcoming release ‘DevaDas’ featuring King Akkineni Nagarjuna and Natural Star Nani has been raising some expectations and now they have gone for a Bollywood connection. Reports reveal the makers have gone in for Kunal Kapoor for the role of the villain. Kunal shot to fame for his role in the movie ‘Rang De Basanti’.

This would also mark his debut in Telugu and also his first in the South cine circuit. While it is not sure on what parameters they felt Kunal was the best bet, all are hoping he would deliver as expected and create a space for himself here. Helmed by Sriram Adittya, the music for this movie is by melody Brahma Mani Sharma.
