Every year, the South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA) is organized in a very prestigious manner and there is no doubt in saying that this has brought a new pride and respect to the south cinema. The main mastermind for this event has been the innovative entrepreneur Vishnu Induri and here is the latest update.

This year SIIMA is going to take place in Dubai and the organizers have made a significant change. It is heard that they are not selling any tickets to locals. Added to that, no campaigning is also happening as the makers have decided not to make it a public event. Given that, it is only for celebrities of four industries and television broadcast.

Earlier even local people also used to watch the event by buying tickets. They were given importance that way. The concept was to appease those local South Indians in foreign countries but this time it is not happening. On the brighter side, now that the concept is only for TV they can do the event in any country going forward.
