Titled Chandrodayam, a biopic on Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandra Babu Naidu went on floors last month and has already completed 80 percent of the political drama. The film is expected to release on October 18.

The film will showcase the journey and growth of Nara Chandra Babu Naidu as a politician. The title role will be played by Vinod Nuvvula who has played key roles in daily soaps and is also a character artiste.

Chandrodayam is directed by Venkata Ramana and is bankrolled by GJ Rajendra. The film also has Shivani Chowdhary and Mounika in vital roles. Music is composed by Karthik Mukundan and the camera is handled by Raj Kiran PR.
