The department of remuneration has a lot of disparity in the cinema industry. The lion’s share in any big budget movie is always catered to the hero’s remuneration. Things began to change after a while and slowly even the directors started to charge a bomb. Today, the situation is such that if a film is being made for 50 crores, about 30-35 crores go only for the hero and director.
Looking further closely at the remuneration of the directors, normally the small budget filmmakers get paid in lakhs. Even if the film scores a hit at the most they tend to get a small hike in their fee but it doesn’t go beyond that. However, four small directors have become such a rage in the Telugu industry that they are getting fancy offers.
They are Sandeep Reddy Vanga who made ‘Arjun Reddy’ Sankalp Reddy who made ‘Ghazi’ Nag Ashwin who made ‘Mahanati’ and Ajay Bhupathi who made ‘RX 100’. According to latest reports, they are getting 4 crores offer from production houses now. On the other hand, the talented Tharun Bhascker is not getting such offers because he is fixed about working with small stars and not big ones.
