A new week has begun and it is time to look at what has happened at the box office last weekend. This is the first weekend of a new month and the Telugu Film Industry is hoping that the disastrous graph of July does not repeat. In lieu of that, three movies took the litmus test at the box office last Friday and here is the report.

The registered winner among the three is ‘Goodachari’ featuring Andhra Aamir Khan Adivi Sesh. The film clocked strong numbers at the box office and spiked during the weekend in a big way. The overseas is also giving very positive numbers for ‘Goodachari’. The other release ‘Chi La Sow’ featuring Sushanth is doing decent.

Another contender was ‘Brand Babu’ with Eesha Rebba as the leading lady and it has been declared as a dud. Among the previous releases, ‘Sakshyam’ featuring Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas is getting closer to a confirmed disaster while Niharika Konidela’s ‘Happy Wedding’ has become a total washout.
