Post the release of the magnum opus ‘Baahubali’ if there is one film which has kept the entire Telugu Film Industry on its toes, it is the new magnum opus ‘Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy’ featuring megastar Chiranjeevi. This period movie is being made at a whopping budget of Rs 200 crores and it is a very prestigious project for the mega family.

The makers are not compromising on anything and now another update has arrived. Buzz is that the film might end up being released as straight Tamil movie. As such, this has the Tamil star Makkal Mannan Vijay Sethupathi doing a very important role and hence the chances of projecting this into a Tamil movie works.

This also reminds us of how, many years ago, the Telugu movie ‘Veerapandiya Kattabomman’ was made as a straight Tamil movie and it worked very well at the box office. As such, ‘Sye Raa’ is being made as a multilingual and if Chiru can make that extra effort and speak in Tamil as well, it is going to create a huge impact.
