The business of cinema has changed its dynamics in the last few years due to the growing markets and the budgets. Earlier, it was a straight deal between the main hero and producers that the former gets a particular amount as his remuneration. Eventually the format changed wherein the hero began to take profit shares.

Another format also involves the hero taking the rights for a particular territory along with the remuneration. While the percentages were understood here is an interesting update about the much talked about movie ‘Saaho’ featuring the young rebel star Prabhas. Well, it is heard that Prabhas is getting a whopping 80% share in the movie.

This would mean that only the balance 20 percent goes to director, producer, cast and crew. This shows the kind of trust and faith producers have on him. According to one estimate, the film is expected to touch 1000 crores collections and if 600 crores is the nett revenue then 120 crores becomes twenty percent which is certainly a huge amount.
