Just recently we had reported that the multi-starrer featuring King Akkineni Nagarjuna and Natural Star Nani has been titled interestingly as ‘Devdas’ and the film has been shaping up quite quickly. Now, the latest update is that they have locked the release date and the film would be hitting the screens on September 27th.

According to the trade analysts, this is a hot spot because the festival mood is rather high among the audience. During this time, even if the film comes with an average content, the audience takes it to a super hit zone. As it is, the expectations are extremely high on this movie due to the crazy combination and the humour quotient.

Helmed by the budding filmmaker Sriram Aditya, the movie is being made under the banner of Vyjayanthi Movies owned by the mighty Ashwini Dutt. While Nag is essaying the role of a mafia don, Nani is essaying the role of a doctor and their scenes are going to be the biggest highlight. Now that they have positioned the release properly the numbers will rise.
