We are talking about the biopic mania and after looking at the success of ‘Mahanati’ and ‘Sanju’, the craze has increased. The cine folks say “It has become tough to attract audience with fiction. There is too much of it through TV serials and other programs. Unless hardcore entertainment is there or major visual wonder is there, people are not getting excited.”

They add “In the case of a biopic, the story is already there, it is just that the screenplay has to be neat and executed without blemish. Also, people will connect instantly since it is about a popular figure. That way, we have already scored forty percent marks at the box office, so another sixty percent marks should be scored which is relatively achievable.”
