The season of biopic which has currently become a mania of sorts is currently creating quite a buzz and the Bollywood circuit has been going all guns blazing to come up with as many biopics as they can. One among them happens to be the life story of the iconic cricketer Kapil Dev who brought India its first world cup in 1983.

True to that the movie has been titled as ‘83’ and things are getting quite interesting. Mr Adrenaline Ranveer Singh is stepping into the shoes of Kapil and the makers have decided to release the film in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil simultaneously. One of the main reasons the Telugu Film Industry is showing interest is due to the producer.

He is none other than Vishnu Induri who was also the creator of the Celebrity Cricket League tournament. Reports say the shooting will commence soon and yet another big star Nawazuddin Siddiqui has been roped in to essay the role of Kapil’s coach. Since Vishnu is the producer, it would be nice if a Telugu artiste also is part of the project.
