Latha Rajinikanth the wife of Tamil superstar-turned politician Rajinikanth, who is one of the directors of the Mediaone Global Entertainment Ltd, is warned to play her loans by the Supreme Court. The SC warns Latha Rajinikanth and asks her to repay Rs. 6.2 Crores loan amount.

Latha Rajinikanth is involved in this case for not replaying the outstanding amount of Rs 6.2 crore to an advertising agency. Latha Rajinikanth had taken a loan of Rs 14.90 crore from Bengaluru-based Ad-Bureau Advertising. The money was taken to finish post-production work of 2014 Rajinikanth-Deepika Padukone starrer film "Kochadaiiyaan".

The outstanding amount 6.2 crores has been unsettled and the Ad-Bureau has been fighting for the amount legally. The advertising agency had approached the top court against Lathain March 10, 2016. The court has released a notice to Latha Rajinikanth and asked her to "Pay or get ready to face the trial".
