Attaching titles to heroes is a tradition followed strongly in the Telugu and Tamil industries but attaching a hero tag to a comedian is something very rare. This rare achievement was earned by one man. He is none other than Sampoornesh Babu fondly known as ‘Burning Star’. His debut flick ‘Hrudaya Kaaleyam’ became a surprise hit.

Since quite sometime Sampoo has been keeping off the radar and he was last seen in the reality show ‘Bigg Boss’. While many were wondering if Sampoo packed his bags he has announced his entry. Soon, Sampoo’s long pending movie ‘Kobbari Matta’ is going to see the light and this is a spoof on various action entertainers.

Helmed by Sai Rajesh who did ‘Hrudaya Kaaleyam’, the film is preparing to hit the theatres soon and the team is once again working on how they can come up with a very engaging pre release promotional strategy. Since Sampoo is coming after a considerable gap, it has to be seen whether the Burning Star will raise the heat at ticket windows or not.
