Every now and then the cinema industry folks have the habit of bringing out some bygone classics and they want to rehash it with contemporary flavor not changing the content. So far, the success ratio has not been that great but the attempts to do so have not stopped. Now, another venture is being planned in the big Bollywood circuit.

According to reports, the burgundy eyed beauty Deepika Padukone has decided to do a movie and this happens to be a remake of a film featuring the Athiloka Sundari Sridevi which came four decades ago. A leading production house has decided to bankroll the project but they are not revealing the name of the original movie.

Inside sources say it is ‘Vasantha Kokila’ which came as ‘Sadma’ in Hindi. The reason for choosing this is, there is no greater movie than this to challenge the acting quotient of Sridevi. She has shown the maximum variation an actress can show in any other movie. Well, let us wait for the official confirmation on this news though.
