If that were true, the economics of the industry would have been in colourful numbers and everything would have been hunky dory. Well, fact remains that the business of cinema has often been a gamble than anything else.

Now, the trade analysts are coming out with a observation which can only raise eyebrows. According to them, if a film is viewed thrice only then it can be called as industry hit because that’s when the actual investment for the buyers can be recovered with profits. The main cause for that is the premium they shell to buy these movies.

In the recent past, it was only ‘Rangasthalam’ featuring mega powerstar Ram Charan and ‘Mahanati’ featuring cutie pie Keerthy Suresh which became registered industry hits. For that matter, even the much touted ‘Bharat Ane Nenu’ also got damaged in terms of numbers. The magnum opus ‘Baahubali’ had repeat audience which led to those mammoth figures.
