There is no doubt that ‘Mahanati’ is a fabulously made movie leaving a haunting effect on the audience and it is a worthy blockbuster. However, things are raising eyebrows when it is being touted as the biopic on the legendary actress Savitri. Apparently, the film has shown Gemini Ganesan in a rather negative shade.

While his daughter has already raised a protest, here are few blunders the Tamil star’s fans have pointed out. For starters, Gemini never had a slow graph or lack of offers because he was doing movies every year at the frequency of two to three. That way, Savitri’s graph started falling down after she touched 30 but Gemini’s graph continued till he was 60.

The other point they are making is, Gemini took their son Satish under his wings, educated him, made him an engineer and sent him to US. Last but not the least, he had taken Savitri’s mortal remains post her demise to his first wife’s residence and performed the final rituals. Well, this only goes to show that ‘Mahanati’ was afterall, part fiction.
