We cannot decide what factor becomes a trend in the movies. Sometimes it is the fresh locations, sometimes the props used by the actors in the movies, sometimes it is their dialogues. In the recent times, Tollywood has undergone so many changes and is adapting the latest trends.
One of the things which creates a good impact in the recent times is the regional based slang and accent in which the actors in movie speak. A year ago, the Telangana dialect was very famous, with Fidaa, Arjun Reddy, Ami Thumi etc creating a huge impact.
Even in Rangasthalam, the Godavari side dialect and slang is adapted, which was received well by all the Telugu audience. Seems like the makers are even introducing the Rayalaseema slang for the real impact in Rayalaseema based stories.
It was Nani who adapted the perfect accent of Chittoor dialect in his recent movie Krishnarjuna Yudham. Though the movie was not well-received, Nani's slang as Krishna grabbed everyone's attention. The next hero working on Rayalaseema's slang is Young Tiger NTR in his upcoming movie Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava, under Trivikram Srinivas' direction. Must wait and see how it works.
