It has been ages since anyone has seen actor/director J D Chekravarthy on the Telugu screens. Reports reveal he has become quite busy in the Kannada and Tamil circuits doing various projects. But recently JD ended up donning another role, that of an event manager albeit just one time. This was for the movie ‘Officer’.

The pre release event took place at N Convention and entire thing was planned and executed by JD, as per reports. Interestingly, he didn’t even come onstage. He had a walkie talkie and stood behind the stage giving instructions to his team. Those who worked with him revealed JD was wearing a cap and hoodie.

He was in a black dress and nobody could recognize his presence. He was busy working and he did this just out of respect and regard for the director Ram Gopal Varma. Many have called this a very successful event management. Of course, nobody gave credit to JD onstage so he can be called as the unsung hero of the evening.
