The summer season is the time when the Tollywood circuit would be all pumped up because they tend to come up with the biggest of releases and make the maximum at the box office. Overall, it is a phase of excitement and good things because the percentage of hits is higher. However, this summer has not been that pleasant.

Ever since the season started, the cine folks are unable to relish the fruits of success because they are getting battered by various issues. The Sri Reddy issue was the major one causing a big black mark and it eventually drifted towards Ram Gopal Varma, power star Pawan Kalyan. The casting couch controversy was another headache.

As if all this is not enough, reports from Filmnagar reveal another strike is around the corner. This is going to be from the Lightman Unions. Apparently, they were promised a hike of 25% in their payment but the Producers Council ended up paying only 12%. With this, they have announced a strike and it is going to cause huge losses to the movies on the floors.
