The trend of movie stars getting into politics has picked up in recent times and more than doing anything good for the public, politics has become an alternative career for few cine folks. They enjoy the stint of an MLA or MP for some time and then take it easy. Of course, there are exceptions like power star Pawan Kalyan who come with genuine intent.

Meanwhile, some focus has fallen on superstar Mahesh Babu and his intentions towards politics. As such, some of his family members are deep into politics and he has now done the role of a Chief Minister in his movie ‘Bharat Ane Nenu’. Sharing his thoughts on the entry into politics, Mahesh made a very candid revelation.

He reportedly said that he is never going to step into political arena but he is keen to do social service at a personal level. Mahesh reportedly maintained that politics was never his cup of tea and added he doesn’t need to get into politics to do something to the people. Well, this is a sensible stand Mahesh is taking.
