The situation in Tollywood has gone out of hands. There is an outrage against the derogatory comments made by anchor Sambashiva Rao who called the actresses 'sluts' on a live show. The anchor threw questions at Telugu writer-actor Posani Krishna Murali about women in the Telugu film industry, which is not only disgusting but also derogatory.

The Telugu film industry has united together against the media channels writing such things portraying them as anti-social and disrespecting them. Actress Rakul Preet who attended the press meet yesterday became quite emotional about how the media people are spreading false news just for the sake of clicks and TRP's.

"We are all aware of the things media people write about us. We ignore because we do not want negativity, as we are already immersed in neck-deep problems. For the sake of your clicks and TRP's do not cross the limits to this level", Rakul requested the media people.

"It is ridiculous that people generalize and make assumptions. I have never faced any incident in a way that I felt unsafe here. There are bugs in all the fields. We are humans too. Please note that", Rakul stated emotionally. Manchu Lakshmi, Nandini Reddy, Harish Shankar, Suman etc were there along with the Movie Arts Association members.
