Rangasthalam is the most awaited flick of the season. Being a retro backdrop movie, Rangasthalam starrs Samantha and Ram Charan in the village kind of looks of the 1980's time period. Slated for its release on 30th March, Rangasthalam has a colossal pre-release buzz.

In this frame of context, there are so many expectations pinned on this movie. Sukumar is the director and Mythri Movie Makers is the banner under which the movie is bankrolled. Rangasthalam is made on a whopping budget of over 50 Crores. The movie should at least collect an amount as much as Rs. 80 Crores to be officially termed a 'HIT' movie. 

Taking this into consideration, Rangasthalam needs to surpass huge collections to be termed a 'hit'. Although the pre-release buzz is high, there are heavy risks like PIRACY etc which might affect the collections. So, the makers are being tensed and only the first hour reviews are to be accountable.
