Songs becoming the roots for interesting titles has picked up in the recent years and in fact, most of the Telugu movies coming these days tend to find their origin in some chartbuster. This time, one Tamil team has taken another step forward and they chose Athiloka Sundari Sridevi as the main source of inspiration.
One of the life-changing movies in Sridevi’s career is ‘Vasantha Kokila’ and all the songs in that movie are chartbusters. The Tamil version was titled as ‘Moonram Pirai’ featuring Universal Star Kamal Haasan. In that, the song ‘Kanne kalaimaane….’ became a tearjerking chartbuster. Now, the same has been used by the milky white beauty Tamannaah.
Well, Tammu’s next movie in Tamil is with Udhayanidhi Stalin and this is being helmed by Seenu Ramasamy. The shooting has begun and the film has been titled as ‘Kanne Kalaimaane’. Now that the Sridevi hangover is quite high if the makers can expedite the process and get the film into the theatres at the earliest they will benefit more.
