As much as you would like to establish a strong market in the domestic segment times have changed and it has become important for you to prove your mettle in the overseas box office too. Interestingly, getting the patronage of the NRIs is not that easy because their taste is somewhat different from the locals here.
This is one reason why only a handful of heroes have actually managed to establish themselves abroad especially in the US. Now, another name is joining that list. It is that of the handsome hunk Naga Shaurya. Apparently, Naga Shaurya made his presence felt with his debut flick ‘Oohalu Gusagusalade’ overseas.
However, he followed it up with back to back flops and it is only now he has been able to bounce back with his recent release ‘Chalo’. Incidentally, this movie has worked very well in the US as well and this has spiked his demand and market there. The US buyers are already throwing kerchiefs at Shaurya’s next project. Way to go lad!
