The moment you give your project to a director you have to step back and allow him to take charge because the director is the captain of the ship. While that is understood there are times when you cannot help getting tensed because few filmmakers have their own eccentricities which are shown in the moviemaking.
The hard-hitting filmmaker Bala is known for his raw style of filmmaking and sometimes it becomes too nauseating for the audience to digest. Now, Bala is doing the remake of the cult blockbuster ‘Arjun Reddy’ which marks the debut of Dhruv, son of Chiyaan Vikram, as the hero. The Kollywood folks are now getting pensive.
They are saying “If Bala shapes ‘Arjun Reddy’ remake as it is then fine but if he adds his whims there it would be trouble and the film will go out of track. We hope he would respect Vikram’s trust in him and give Dhruv the much-needed entry.” The first look of Dhruv was unveiled and it has not disappointed anyone so that’s a good start.
