It is true that the competition is quite strong when it comes to the heroes and heroines and directors and technicians but then one department seems to be crystal clear. We are talking about the music directors department and though there is an abundance of talent in Tollywood the king’s seat is captured by only one man.
He is none other than Rock Star Devi Sri Prasad. It has been quite a while since DSP has been cooling his heels on the number one spot and no young musician has been able to beat him. At one point, many thought the Kollywood sensation Anirudh will come and pose a threat through his tunes for Agnyaathavasi.
However, it has not happened and Anirudh had to pack his bags. To some extent, few are speculating another Kollywood composer duo Hip Hop Thamizha might have a chance. But for now, the top spot belongs to DSP and next to him is the thumping man Thaman. Only time will reveal who can get past them.
