We come across many talented musicians in our life but the only dudes who make some fat money are the star music directors and singers who have a brand and celebrity image. Given that, it does come as a surprise when you hear that a group of musicians who hail from the countryside has got heavy remunerations.
But then it is true as per sources and all this has happened during the song making for the movie ‘Rangasthalam’. It is known that rock star Devi Sri Prasad is composing the songs for this movie and he is preparing to arrive with the second single ‘Ranga ranga rangasthalaana….’. This one has instrumentation from real village musicians.
Sources reveal DSP gave very nice remunerations to these musicians and tears dwelled in their eyes. As such, every music director takes a contract from producers and they pay to the musicians, singers, and technicians from their end. It is really a commendable gesture from DSP to encourage such fine and unsung talent.
