Earlier, there were reports that Madhavan is in talks with director Gautham Vasudev Menon for an upcoming movie. It turns out to be a big sensation, as there are speculations that Gautham Menon is to make the sequel to the most loved movie Vinnaithaandi Varuvaya, which was made as 'Ye Maaya Chesave' in Telugu.
In a recent media interaction with a YouTube channel, the director confirmed that Madhavan will play one of the lead roles in this flick. There are talks that this special movie will apparently feature one hero from each language- Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada.
It was also confirmed that Puneeth Rajkumar, Anushka Shetty, Prithviraj, and Tamannaah have been chosen for the film. "The story is about Ye Maaya Chesave's (Vinnaithaandi varuvaya) Karthik, eight years after his first movie. It's a four-hero film with Madhavan, Tovino Thomas, and Puneeth Rajkumar. We haven't finalized the Telugu actor yet", Gautham Menon told to the interviewer. However, there is no hint of Naga Chaitanya getting roped in the sequel to Ye Maya Chesave yet.
