Nothing can be more painful than witnessing a promising production house shutting down its shop and its employees searching for jobs elsewhere in the industry. However, this has happened now in the Tollywood circuit with one big banner reportedly closing down its shop. We are talking about the PVP Pictures owned by Prasad Potluri.
It is known that this banner had lined up some plum projects when they first arrived but eventually the back to back flops have hampered their growth. Notable among them was the movie ‘Brahmotsavam’ which gave a death blow to this banner and Prasad had no choice but to shut down the office.
There were also reports that Prasad was unable to make money through the movie ‘Oopiri’ was a decent success. Despite all this, he did come up with movies like ‘Ghazi’ and there was a ray of hope but now it is officially announced that the banner is no longer existing. This would mean job losses for many.
