The much-awaited biopic of Late Veteran actress Savithri is being made as Mahanati. Prepping up for the release this summer, Mahanati stars Keerthy Suresh and Samantha in the female lead roles. Malayalam's superhero Dulquer will be seen in one of the interesting roles too.
Keerthy Suresh who plays the legendary heroine 'Mahanati' Savithri has some things to share with us. Keerthy Suresh got to speak with late actress Savithri's daughter while shooting for this movie. Keerthy Suresh says that she shares some similarities with Savitri.
"I feel blessed to say that I have realized that we (Savithri and Keerthy Suresh) have a few things in common. Savithri used to swim, and I love swimming. She liked tea and so do I. She used to play cricket, and it surprises me because I play cricket with children too", Keerthy said.
Keerthy Suresh seems to be extremely excited about the movie Mahanati. She says she is trying to portray Savithri's role without any flaws. "I am trying to hit the nail on to its head. I would be happy if I can portray her well", Keerthy concluded.
