It was all in the news that Star Tamil Hero Dhanush is all set to direct a colossal movie which is touted to be a periodic drama. Initially, there were reports that actor Dhanush approached the Tollywood Megastar Chiranjeevi, but as he could not cope up with the dates, the offer went to Nagarjuna.
Seems like there is a twist in the tale. Reliable sources believe that Kannada's star hero Sudeep Kicha is to be roped in Dhanush's upcoming movie. "Sudeep was approached by Dhanush, to which he has given a green signal", a source says. This movie is yet to be titled. Kicha Sudeep appeared as a villain in Telugu movie 'Eega' and did a cameo in the Magnum Opus Baahubali.
On the other hand, Dhanush seems to be busy shooting for his upcoming movie Maari-2. Maari created a ripple and stands as one of the super hit movies for Dhanush. So, Dhanush will resume the direction of this movie as soon as he wraps Maari-2. Official confirmation awaited.
