Rana Daggubati is to debut as Marthanda Varma in K Madhu's upcoming movie titled Marthanda Varma: The King of Travancore. Rana even visited the Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple in Thiruvananthapuram on Sunday along with the movie's team. The director K Madhu reportedly told that everything related to the movie began at the temple and hence they wanted to start the with the blessings of the God there.
After visiting the temple, Rana also took some time out visiting some locations for the movie. He also sat for the movie discussions as per the scriptwriter Robin Thirumala. Robin Tirumala said that Rana visited those places and was very keen to know more things related. "As he is to portray Marthanda Varma, Rana wanted to visit the places and learn things so that he could get into the skin of the role he is to play," Robin said.
