Shriya Saran is all set for another experimental role. Of late, the actress shed her glam-doll image and has been doing different roles. Shriya has signed a new film to be directed by debutant Sujana.
The svelte beauty will be playing the character of a simple working woman from a city slum in this woman-centric film about an innocent girl’s life journey. Shriya has tried something similar in her Hollywood film ‘Midnight Children’ earlier.
Legendary music composer Ilaiyaraja will be scoring music. Sai Madhav Burra is penning dialogues. Ace cinematographer Gnana Shekar V.S is turning a producer with this ambitious project. The film is in pre-production stages. Storyboard and set designs are being prepared, the film will go sets from the first week of March, said director Sujana.
