Films are a powerful medium and they tend to have an impact not just on the society but certain segments of caste too. More often than not, the Brahmin community has been shown more on a humorous tone or sometimes a mocking tone on the silver screen. It is very rare that they have been shown with an element of regard.
However, it appears that ‘Jai Simha’ has done the needful. According to inside reports, Nandamuri Natasimham Balakrishna has come up with some positive dialogues on Brahmins and this news has reached few Brahmin associations. They are now looking forward to watching the film and see what Balayya had to say about them.
If this news is true they want to shower Balayya with the best of blessings and patronize the movie in a big way. Though the percentage of the Brahmin population is sizeable, catching their attention has not really happened. If ‘Jai Simha’ manages to do that, it is going to be an interesting catch point for the cine folks.
