You may call it as a coincidence or a deliberate attempt to show one upmanship but then the frequency of big star movies clashing at the box office has risen. Whenever there is a festival season coming in, the clash is becoming inevitable. This time it is a war between two heavyweights.
They are Nandamuri Natasimham Balakrishna and power star Pawan Kalyan. Apparently, Pawan is arriving with the movie ‘Agnyatavasi’ on January 10th and Balayya is arriving with his much-hyped ‘Jai Simha’ on January 12th. That way, there is just 2 days gap between both the movies and this will be tough.
On a positive note, ‘Agnyatavasi’ is more of a family drama with elements of action and sentiment whereas ‘Jai Simha’ is a wholesome mass entertainer. While that is true, it would be interesting to see how the theatres would be distributed because these are not the only two releases that time. Let us see who becomes the Sankranti winner among the two.
