The trend of making biopics has been on the rise and it started at Bollywood and slowly spread to Tollywood. While this is a good thing one biopic has led to some major friction in the Telugu states. We are talking about the biopic of the great N T Rama Rao and one of them features his own son Nandamuri Natasimham Balakrishna.
Things got heated up when the eccentric genius Ram Gopal Varma announced ‘Lakshmi’s NTR’ and released a poster. After a while, Kethireddy Jagadeeswar Reddy also announced a similar project followed by Tummalapalli Rama Satyanarayana. At one point, many were waiting to see what will Balayya do.
However, the Nandamuri star has surprised everyone with his move. Well, his biopic is going to commence today at the Ramakrishna Studios in Hyderabad. Sources reveal the shooting would commence with the canning of the teaser. The film is being helmed by the talented director Teja and he has reportedly kept everything ready.
Now that this project has actually hit the floors it is clear that Balayya is ahead in the battle for the biopic. Given the fact that elections are soon approaching, wrapping up this film and releasing it at the right time would give a huge mileage to Balayya and his party because his father is worshipped like a God even today.
