Since the time the Mozart of Madras A R Rahman walked out of the magnum opus, ‘Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy’ heavy discussions were happening as to who would take his place. Of course the mega fans are quite happy as they feel Rahman has not been able to come up with engaging tunes in the recent times.
While the discussions are still on, many are opening that rock star Devi Sri Prasad is the best choice. As such the other options are thumping composer Thaman and Melody man Keeravani but fact remains that both are unpredictable because sometimes they give fantastic tunes and other times they give a shocker.
Some also believe that for Keeravani it works due to the tough taskmaster S S Rajamouli. On the other hand, musical maestro Ilaiyaraaja could not do much for ‘Rudhrama Devi’ so he is also doubtful. Given all this, DSP is the ultimate choice. The team should convince and get him onboard. It is heard that even the unit is also thinking the same. Let us see what happens.
