A very critical part of filmmaking is editing. There are many movies which either become excellent or damaged based on the decision taken by the director in the editing suite. Eventually when the film hits the screens and certain feedback is given the makers rush to do the amendments.
You would have seen quite a few times when few films got trimmed on their run time and in few cases, some extra scenes are added. But all this depends on the timing. Even a small delay can affect the film’s result in a big way. This seems to be happening now with one movie.
We are talking about C/o Surya featuring the talented hero Sundeep Kishan and golden girl Mehreen Kaur. The film is a bilingual and it received a decent response from the critics and audience alike. However, the lag in first half has hampered the film’s chances. As a result, the director has reportedly chopped nearly 20 minutes of the movie but still there is no change in collections. Some are saying the repair work has been done too late. Better luck next time folks!
