Whenever a festival is round the corner it is not just a time where festivities and celebrations take place but it is also the time when some big ticket movies featuring heavyweight superstars get released. The momentum is positive and the vibe is quite cheerful among the audience.
However, it appears that the upcoming Pongal festival is not that tough in Tollywood. This year we saw the big clash between Nandamuri Natasimham Balakrishna, Megastar Chiranjeevi and it was immediately followed by films from Victory Venkatesh and ‘King’ Akkineni Nagarjuna.
But now it is heard that Sankranthi 2018 has only two biggies in the form of Rangasthalam 1985 featuring mega powerstar Ram Charan and Nandamuri Balakrishna’s new movie. Barring these two, the rest of the movies are all tier two and tier three range. In a way it is good as each film will have it share of pie without causing any dent to one another.
