Acting itch is quite common among the common people. Albeit not seriously trying to get on to the screen for years together, there are many those don't wish to miss a chance when it comes their way. Film Critics are a set of people those are momentary enemies but long term friends for film makers. They become enemies whenever they ridicule or thrash a film. They become friends when the same critics laud a good film. But the critics are also not immune to acting itch.
TNR, a film critic cum interviewer who became popular in recent times acted in a couple of films long ago, but now also appeared in Nene Raju Nene Mantri in a dialogue-less role. Mahesh Katti who has been an enemy for many due to his hard hitting reviews on Facebook and TV channels appeared in Hrudaya Kaleyam earlier as well as Nene Raju Nene Mantri now. Similarly Sirasri, a critic once upon a time and a lyricist at present appeared in Snehageetam and Ladies And Gentlemen. Mahesh Koneru, another critic turned PRO appeared in a film as an aspiring groom a few years ago.
Though the directors are attempting to sooth the acting itch of critics assuming they may become cool on their future feature films, the phenomenon never changes. Critics are critics and they keep whipping the films they watch.
