If you are thinking that Vijay Devarakonda and Ritu Varma starrer Pelli Choopulu (PC) has got its due after winning the National award, the successful Telugu film is apparently exceeding your expectations on all fronts.
Pellichoopulu, a low-budget regional film made by Tharun Bhascker in 2016, is going internationally big time. Along with the great extravaganza Baahubali and other Bollywood blockbusters, PC will feature at Indian Film Festival of Melbourne-2017 (IFFM). This definitely is a huge surprise and honorable moment for the makers of Pellichoopulu, a classic film that's tailored for A-center and multiplex audiences.
Besides other Indian films, Pelli Choopulu and Baahubali are only two Telugu films nominated for IFFM. Shobu Yarlagadda, producer of Baahubali, filmmakers Shoojit Sircar (Pink) & Nitesh Tiwari (Dangal) will be conducting various special crafted masterclasses.
This film festival is scheduled to take place for 13 days, I.e between 10-22nd August.
