There must be those among you who have a strong idea of the whole epic Mahabharata and the interesting part is, each chapter in it is so strong that it can be sufficient to make ten different movies. Almost all the movies we see have some roots with this grand epic.
This time, one film has not hesitated to mention direct references to Mahabharata and it sure is working. We are talking about the movie Lie featuring youth star Nithiin. The teaser has come out and a voiceover speaks about how even Kurukshetra would not be possible without lies.
The teaser ends with the line ‘Ashwatthama Hathaha…Kunjaraha’ and this is a famous line from Mahabharata. That way, the crux of the plot seems to reveal around how a lie is necessary to deliver the right justice. Helmed by Hanu Raghavapudi, Lie teaser has scored well with the Mahabharata tinge.
