Duvvada Jagannadham (DJ) Story:
Jagannadham (Allu Arjun) is a good person who's developed a feeling of not showing resistance when things are not going well. He runs Annapurna Catering Services and at a wedding, he comes across Pooja (Pooja Hegde) and instantly falls for her. Meanwhile, Royyala Naidu (Rao Ramesh) does a major scam under the name Agro Diamonds. He fixes his son's wedding with home Minister (Posani)'s daughter Pooja. The rest of the story is Jagannadham fighting against Royyala Naidu and also winning his love in the name of DJ.
Duvvada Jagannadham (DJ) Performances:
Duvvada Jagannadham has an ordinary story but what stands out the best is the central theme of the movie. The entire story or the set up that was weaved around Brahmin's life has been amazing. The characterisations designed by Harish Shankar are certainly entertaining. Meanwhile, Allu Arjun impressed big time in Brahmin's role and he did the role with a lot of respect for the community and the same can be observed from his performance and the body language. He has not gone overboard in the film at least in a single scene. With a lot of conviction, the actor has brought his best in essaying this unique role in his career.
The director Harish has got inspiration from the popular scam that took place in Vijayawada and hence the audiences can be easily connected with the film. The central theme of the film revolves around 'Agro Diamond' Defaulters. This has been an interesting setup to woo the audiences with the proper screenplay. The best part of the film is that it has all the elements mixed up well. The first half is well constructed by touching each and every element in required proportion with enough detailing.
There is a dose of action, romance, comedy in the first half of the movie. Allu Arjun pulled off the roles DJ and Sastry pretty well. The variation in his characters is the best in the first half of the movie. There may be comparisons with Adhurs film but what Allu Arjun played in the film is less than what that of Jr NTR. People may like Tarak very much. Apart from the comparisons that come in, it would be good if we look at both the characters with a different perspective. The best part of the film is Harish narrating an ordinary story in a pleasing as well as interesting manner.
The dialogues of the film need a special mention. Harish Shankar who is originally a very good writer has put his best in creating entertainment with the conversations. The film can be termed as a typical revenge story but the director tried his best to present it uniquely to avoid routine talk for the film. He was successful in parts in this case. As the makers expressed, the climax has come out very well. Coming to the technical values of the film., the film Duvvada Jagannadham is top notch. The camera work of Ayananka Bose is a highlight of the film. His framing and lighting are too good. Chota K Prasad's editing is neat. The production values of Dil Raju are grand.

Duvvada Jagannadham Music:
The music scored by Devi Sri Prasad is impressive. DSP's songs are hit from the beginning. The background score came out very well and it elevated the film at the right points. The music added a lot of life to the film.
Duvvada Jagannadham Verdict:
Duvvada Jagannadham is a perfect commercial cinema with the right mix of comedy and action. A perfect entertainer for this Monsoon season.
