After the Tsunami created by the magnum opus Baahubali there was a radiation effect wherein the big movies were nowhere to be seen. Now, after two months gap, the biggie is arriving in the form of Duvvada Jagannadham featuring stylish star Allu Arjun.
With this, the trade analysts have again gotten busy and they are now drawing comparison on its collections stamina against the movie Khaidi No 150 featuring megastar Chiranjeevi. As such, Chiru’s movie scored 115 crores at the box office.
As for Duvvada Jagannadham the trade reports reveal the film has to score a share of Rs 80 crores to be called as a success. Given the stamina of Bunny and the desperation of the Telugu audience for a big one, this target looks achievable but what remains to be seen is whether it can go past Khaidi No 150. The film is releasing today so the ball has begun rolling.
