Indu Sarkar- this latest film based on the true incidents of Indian history at the emergency period as it was stated by the director Madhur Bhandarkar.
Well, this trailer got released a few days back and it got strong resentment from the Indian National Congress as the main lead roles lookalike former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi and her son Sanjay Gandhi.
The Congress party spokesperson, MP Jyotiraditya Scindia slammed the director & film for misconstructing the facts and also alleged this film has the back support of a popular organisation. Director Madhur responded back to these comments, ‘I wonder how could Jyotiraditya make such a remark without watching the whole film? I admire him as an individual but this was not expected. Just one trailer has come out whereas in the film I did not mention any name of any politicians, did I?’
This whole episode pushed this film into a controversy club and we need to wait for some more time to know the status of this film as it has to go before the censor board for the certification.
