You would have noticed frequently that whenever a film becomes a hit in a particular language, it either gets dubbed or remade in other languages. Many industry folks feel it is safer to take a proven script and reproduce it than coming up with something original.
Now, another Telugu film is preparing to swarm the entire southern cine circuit. We are talking about the movie Karthikeya featuring the vibrant hero Nikhil Siddhartha. The film came silently but emerged as a big success at the box office.
Now, there is news that arrangements have been made to remake the film in three languages, Kannada, Malayalam and Tamil. This was helmed by Chandoo Mondeti and it would be interesting to see how it would appeal to the other industry audience.
