Though a film comes in with a lot of hype and promise ultimately it is the figures at the box office which decides its true potential. This is more when the film involves a big league star hero because there is a lot of money at stake and the market momentum is decided by it.
True to that, the film Katamarayudu featuring power star Pawan Kalyan came in with a huge hoopla but the box office reports suggest otherwise. The first weekend report reveals the film has earned around 40 plus crores but that is not a great number.
In order to ensure buyers are safe and make some money, the film needs to get an additional 50 plus crores which is looking an uphill ride. The only consolation is, the Ugadi festival is coming so holiday season works. It is going to be a hardship for Katamarayudu but let us wish he overcomes it.
