You know well that the current trend in Indian cinema is biopics. Normally, such things are made on people who are no more or someone who has created an impact many years ago. But now, many biopics are coming based on the lives of those who are alive.
You have already seen biopics on the lives of Milkha Singh, Mary Kom, M S Dhoni and others. Now, one filmmaker has decided to arrive with a film on none other than Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He claims he was inspired by Modi’s initiative to come up with smart cities across India.
While his intent seems fair enough, the timing seems to be an issue. It is heard that the censor board has refused to do the censor clearance because of the upcoming elections in Uttar Pradesh. It now remains to be seen how the filmmakers will negotiate with the Election Commission and get a clearance so that the censor process can take place.
