For a long time, there was suspense over the state level awards from the Telangana government. Under unified Andhra Pradesh, the Nandi Awards were most sought after. Anyhow, the time has come for the Telangana government to do that and it is called as ‘Simha Awards’.
The notification has come up and according to that, films which have received censor certificates between June 2nd, 2014 to December 31st, 2015 are eligible to apply. The application form and other details can be got from the FDC building near Red Hills in Hyderabad.
The last date for submission of entries is February 18th, 2017 and even those who have done some writing work on Tollywood or analysis are eligible to submit their works. Since this is the first time, the ‘Simha’ awards are going to be held in a very prestigious manner. Get set for this one folks!
