About a decade ago, you would have noticed that Tollywood was following the routine template of commercial potboilers not giving much room to thinking and substance driven movies. However, the need for content rich flicks has risen and even the big names are coming forward.
Currently, the season of biopics is on and it is time for the life story of none other than the great N T Rama Rao. Nandamuri Natasimham Balakrishna has announced he would be stepping into the shoes of his father. So now, the question is, who is going to direct this biopic.
They approached the likes of Trivikram, Puri Jagannadh, Anil Ravipudi and others. In between Anil wrote a story called ‘Ramarao’ but no news on that. Some are also saying it might go to RGV because he is biopic specialist. Moreover, NTR movie means it has to be done on a national canvas and only RGV is capable. Also, Balayya wanted to act with Amitabh Bachchan in Rythu but that didn’t work out but here there is a chance it can be fulfilled. We have to wait and see who will be the chosen one.
